I wanted to read this article but my subscription ran out. Castillo won't underestimate Reyes. He's never underestimated anyone so I don't see him beginning now.

Castillo by beat down is my prediction.

Pretty good article...A Cotto-Castillo fight would be huge, even more if JLC beats Chico again...Just hope that Bob is not talkin ****.

"Vastly underrated boxer" is right. One of the best things that Castillo does is control the distance. That allows him to be competitive with anybody. If he wants to be inside, he's there. When he wants more space, he step-slides back WITH HIS HANDS IN A GOOD DEFENSIVE POSITION.

Hatton should beware. Castillo's punches are shorter, and crisper and he doesn't present the defensive openings that Ricky does. And he is taller with a longer reach.

If only he was just slightly quicker-handed...Still, JLC is one of my fav fighters.

I absolutely love Jose Luis Castillo...

Floyd Mayweather is a pretty unique talent and there is no fighter in the game that does what he does...on that same note Jose Luis Castillo in my mind is just as unique-just as some say no one measures up to Floyd-the exact same can be said about JL...he is a one of a kind in the sport!

Lets not say things that we can't take back. In his prime, Kostya was simply awesome, watch fights when he was at his best. At this point Castillo(although great himself) is not on Kostyas level.

IMO Kostya was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time, meaning being at light welter when the division was at an all-time low in terms of talent. There was absolutely no one except a faded JCC and Miguel Angel Gonzalez. He had three legit world class opponents, and he lost to one of them.

                Naa I'll say it again.

Jose Luis Castillo is a better fighter than Kostya Tszyu was in his absolute prime.

Better level of opposition, more activity, more impressive victories.

There is a slight comparison....but KT doesn't measure up.

This should be an easy fight for Castillo. Man I was excited that we gonna see the 3rd fight with Chico for free, I guess it will be on PPV after this fight.
