DeGale certainly did enough to win, he certainly looks to still have the same flaws though. Just has too many lapses where even if he is doing well he is not doing the things that will make the fight easiest.

In short he needs to tighten up in almost every regard if he really wants to make his mark on the world class level.

The broadcasters make it seem like Degale is beating a good fighter. Degale is beating an average fighter. There was never anything special about Davis. Degale is not going to go far in the super middleweight division, he better stay in England where he gets hyped up. He does not have what it takes to become a world champion.

lol yeah I thought he was good from the way they were speaking, especially about his defensive highlight videos on youtube etc. I wanna look at his fight with Sakio Bika now and see how he performed.

Overall, a good performance from DeGale but nothing spectacular.

Oppo was poor but DeGale still boxed nicely and got the win. Would have liked to see him up the pace more and got Davis out of there but he was playing with him in the end.
