the only reason GBP wants cotto is because they realize floyd's got no one left

Garcia wont draw at all, pacman is out of the question, a fight with khan would get laughed at, him outboxing canelo destroys any chance for a rematch, bradley is HBO, who can floyd fight other than cotto? If Showtime cant get cotto, they are in some deep trouble, and even if they get cotto, they have 3 more fights. This floyd deal is starting to look like a bad idea

Yea,it has 0 to do with the fact that Cotto is a draw himself and will generate them lots of money and that they wanna match him with Canelo......naw it always has to be about Floyd

GBP has two welterweight world champions and several highly ranked contenders. And if Floyd decides to defend his JMW belts his options increase even more.

There are plenty of good opponents for Floyd. You guys just don't want to see them.

Schaefer had set the bar too high and not content in making 1 million plus in PPV. He spends ridiculous amounts of money on everything, promotion, undercards, main fighters, etc. He probably ends up earning nothing.

Reason why HBO let Mayweather go without blinking is because they realized PPV fights are really not that profitable. Based on HBO's weekly fights, they really don't need PPV fights. Fans are happy. Non-PPV fights are even better.

Schaefer even discarded the PPV for Broner vs Maidana.

In my world, unification fights and fighters who clean out their divisions are legit. So the two you listed plus Broner/Maidana, Thurman and Lara/Trout.

There's your potential opponents for 2014. I can't predict who will have the hot hand in 2015.

Golden Boy just needs time, Floyd's next fight will not be against anyone special nothing GBP can do about that. Garcia doesn't want the fight next, although he is the best option but he is a good option down the road as long as he can keep winning. Lara, Trout, Khan, Garcia to a casual fan of the sport what is the difference in those guys~

After that is a long ways off in boxing terms so who knows will pop out of the woodwork
