WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward (26-0, 14KOs) had predicted that challenger Edwin Rodriguez (24-0, 16KOs) would struggle to make the 168-pounds limit and he was right. rodriguez is a big kid, but he's not huge. i thought for sure that he'd be on weight. it had never crossed my mind that he wouldn't make 168. as far as i know, he's had no problems in the past @ 168.

he and stevenson are similar in stature, and that's probably a fair comparison. rodriguez has huge shoulders. i've seen him in a leather jacket in person, and he was big up top.
