Yes it does, because the L's started when they stepped up, if Forrest was as good as he was touted he wouldnt have got ko'ed by a wild brawler, then followed that up by getting dec by a wild brawler, and struggle vs a reality star boxer

They were overrated and Im fans of both, it is what it is

forrest was way past it vs mora,,, sorry but thats like saying toney lost to peter, or chavez to willy wise

true, mayorga had his number, but mayorga is a nightmare fight for anyone, especially in his prime at welter,,

how can you say the L's piled up when they stepped up competition,, when you consistently fight the best fighters over and over again your going to get L's,,, only cherrypickers like calzaghe and floyd go undefeated

mosely has lost to prime forrest and winky,,, let floyd fight those guys and see how good he is,,,

forrest lost twice in his prime,, then injuries basically took away his career,, and he was a shell of himself vs ike, baldomir, mora,, and these guys didnt need catch weights or any of that crap,, they fought top guys in their prime with no strings attached,,, and they repeatedly did this

So was Garcia the top of Forrest division, he looked good vs the bottom feeders but took losses vs the b level and A level fighters

Lets not act like Mosley aint look like complete **** vs Raul Marquez either before he was saved.............................

Having a fighter number doesnt make you great, if you subsequently lose every other other match of substance and that the story of both Mosley and Forrest career. Mosley had Hoya's number, and Forrest had Mosley's other than that they really did jack **** in their careers, it's harsh but it's true

im not sure which garcia you are talking about,,,

i do agree that mosely looked bad vs raul marquez, but marquez was a pretty decent fighter in his day,, sometimes you have bad nights

I just cant see how you cant label mosely and forrest as great fighters,, they are certainly much better than any of the current crop of welters minus floyd and manny

And how cares if you lose and win and lose and win,, when you are fighting the absolute best in their primes,,, shane's best weight was lightweight, and then he loses to the top 154 guy of the past decade in winky,, nothing to be ashamed of,,, Sugar ray robinson lost more times at mw, but he was fighting the absolute best,,,

When you fight the best repeatedly, you will get L's no doubt,,,

Yeah but you win some of the time fighting the best of the best if you are one of the best, thats my issue with Mosely and forrest, and why I hold their questionable resume before the fame against them

Fair argument, nothing but respect for the response, no trolling no goalpost moving...

See i think they have beaten some of the best,,, of course they are intertwined much like srl-hearns-hagler,,, you could say that SRL didnt have any great wins till he fought beneitz, or that hearns only beat duran, and nobody else,,

I think forrest has 2 great wins vs sugar shane,,,

i think shane has some great wins over oscar, margs

I think forrest's career got cut short, and it also took him awhile to land a big fight even though he was a champ for a few years before the shane fight

Shane has had a tremendous career and has fought all comers,,

Its very hard to rack up alot of wins, or even land fights vs top guys in today's boxing world, as great fighters are few and far between..

It was very nice to debate with you as well,,, good job,

vargas wasnt a welter but if he was around today,, it would be him that was the mexican star not canelo,, vargas woulod brutalize canelo ala froch-bute

ike, forrest, shane, would wipe the floor with maidana, broner, ghost, tim, ect

Floyd and manny are legit, jmm is only good vs manny- he gets beat up by thurman or ortiz or ghost,,,
