Comments Thread For: Chris Eubank Jr. Jumps on Board of Bluewater Card

London - Chris Eubank Jr will take to the ring against Frankie Borg over six, three minute rounds on the James DeGale undercard at Glow, Bluewater, Saturday 16th November, live on Channel 5 from 10pm.

The Brighton-based middleweight will be looking to impress the fans and record his 12th straight victory since turning professional.

However, in Borg, he faces a BBBofC Welsh Area middleweight champion, who will be looking to add the first blemish to Eubank Jr's perfect record.

The Cardiff man boasts eight wins and will be looking to make it nine against the son of the legend at Glow. [Click Here To Read More]

Hasnt Chris been fighting bums on one round forever? Should he not be fighting real fighters instead of cooks and bar men by now?

To be fair he took this fight right at the last minute just so he could actually get a fight.

I think fair play to him for actually taking the initiative after having a seemingly awful time with a promoter and taking a last minute fight.

Didn't know he had issues with his promoter. It was just a bit surprising because I think he is a decent fighter who deserves to be moving up the ladder. he doesn't have to be like Kell Brook whose resumes is like the who is who of tomato cans.

It was a pretty dire bill from Hennessey to be honest.....so 'little Chris' turning up will at least give anyone with tickets a better night's entertainment, especially as DeGale is being tipped to stop Davies.

I am guessing the Eubank opponent is Tony Borg's son, so he should know his way around the ring and be fit and well-motivated. Might tune-in as it is being broadcast....just to see if DeGale has improved.

Eubank apparently unhappy and is going to split with Henneseey.

I've been offered a last minute fight & I've decided to take it even though it's extremely short notice & I will not be fully prepared. I'm going to fight not because I have to & not because I want to but because I've only fought twice this year (due to problems with my now former promoter) & the fans deserve better than that. The fight will be tomorrow night live on Channel 5 from 10pm #TeamEubank
            From his Facebook page apparently

Thanks Andre....get the sense that Hennessey is going through hard times and has some unhappy clients!

Typically, DeGale was mouthing-off in Boxing News this week about Hennessey needing to pull his finger out and land him a world title fight soon.....James needs to take a chill-pill and realise that he's fighting in shopping centre nightclubs for a reason.

The only good news for Fat Mick is the Fury lads and that is probably why he is sticking with the business. But I am sure Hearn is leaving plenty of voicemail messages on Tyson and Hughie's mobiles!!
