Adamek used to be one of my favorites, but he seems to have left his courage in the ring with Vitali. Seems it wasn't too long ago he pulled out of a title shot eliminator for a "high quality, big money fight" that never surmounted. Now he backs away from a young puncher days before the fight. I don't know that he he being honest about being ill.

I will be the last person to question any fighters courage BUT it seems that maybe Adamek is having second thoughts about fighting tough fights and is looking for an easier path to another title shot.

And I fully understand he has taken enough punishment for ANY man to take and maybe he wants to remember just a few things after boxing, like his and his wife's name.
