Hardcores may buy it, but I doubt casuals will be lured into buying it after seeing Mayweather's last couple of fights, especially the last one, which was a boring event overall where all fights went to the distance.
By now I think casuals get it. That most boxers today just do enough to win. They get that it's mostly just about surviving and winning via the score cards, then cash out. Let's face it, these people who come to these Floyd fights want to see him lose. They thought Canelo could pull the trigger because of his size and perceived power. They were disappointed. They didn't even know it's fought on a CW.
They may remember Khan with big wins, but such wins were enveloped with devastating loses, thus doubt Khan will be the right guy to do it. Same can be said with small guys like Garcia, Alexander, etc.
Schaefer will have a headache selling his next fight. It will be very expensive. He might even go bankrupt.

You think so? Then Khan is one of those lucky, mid-ranked fighters who are not affected by loses. He can pick his own non-Mayweather fights and he's always the A side of every fight, all because he has this Euro fan base.

Seems like it to me.......I mean the mere fact that Khan is still talked about in serious circles after this.....is beyond me....how else can you explain it??
