Unfortunately HW is more about size and strength than any other weight class these days. A top 10 HW contender (K's aside) whos shredded and in great shape is still a bit novel. He can get by on his size, strength and athletcism alone in the first part of his career against largely smaller unfitter guys

I wouldn't claim for him to be an ATG, but Wilder is hyped to the stars and back and hasn't defeated a top 30 heavyweight yet so its not just us who do it
