Comments Thread For: De Leon: Brandon Rios is Hitting Hard, Very Explosive

Macau - Brandon 'Bam Bam' Rios put the heat on his sparring partner today, moving forward and blasting hard hooks, particuarly to the body on Thursday at the Venetian Macau.

"Rios was explosive today," said Erick DeLeon, the former U.S. National champion who went six rounds of heavy sparring.

"On November 23, sooner or later in the ring, (Manny) Pacquiao is going to have to engage. When that happens Rios is going to unload the way he did against me today." [Click Here To Read More]

In order to unload big time, Rios needs his opponent to stay toe-to-toe...
But there will be Manny in front of him -- and not a Mexican-type brawler...

(Therefore, I don't see Rios finding his target much...)

Pacman has too much hands speed w/ strong & hard. it will be difficult for rios to unload big time if he was hit big time 1st

I love Rios, and will root for him, but I can't see this fight end in any other way than a Pacquiao TKO.
Unless Pacquiao shows up completely shot, I just don't see Rios pulling the upset here. Pac's speed, power, and ability to hit from different angles will be too much for him.
I just hope his corner doesn't let him get "Margaritoed" in there.

Has Rios practiced getting his arms out to prevent his face from hitting the mat when he gets KTFO, getting up at 10 and throwing a fit at the ref after he stops it, or not answering the dr when he asks if he wants to continue only to later say he told the dr yes?

RIOS winning in this fight is like a lottery winner. One in a million chance!
PACMAN will give all his best for this fight. You need to kill him inside the ring to beat the PACMONSTER.

                  Are you serious?
Marquez beat him and he didn't kill the "Pacmonster"
                  Well almost did.

                    Try as they may....

....only the truly ignorant or the Pac haters see Rios doing jack, he won't even go that far. Pride will have Rios winging away from the first bell only to get caught wide open and laid out. Nice guy, B fighter.
