Seems to me the Canelo fight showed how Trout can be easily fooled. And Lara is crafty. I don't see Trout winning this one. Kind of a bad choice of opponent for him IMO.

I dont get it how people can say Lara is boring. I have seen lots of entertaining fights with this guy. Sometimes its better to fight patient and defensive, otherwise it could happen what happened to Abdusalamov. Nonsense toe to toe fighting is just ******. Lara should win fairly easily. Trout is busy and has some skills but his defense is sloppy, I see Lara landing eye catching shots all night.

I think what Lara meant to say was that Trout's style sucks. Trout's style is an ugly and sloppy style of boxing. He's high volume, low accuracy, no power. He might have high activity but he's not doing any damage, nor is he hitting anything.

Lara on the other hand is high accuracy, has power, but is lower volume. Much more beautiful to watch.

Lara needs to show the Ginger how to score the stoppage on Trout and make a statement. But then again Canelo will probably avoid him even more.

Lara should easily handle Trout. Unfortunately Lara cannot look to impressive because if he is then he most assuredly will not get a whiff of cinnamon. that dude is clamoring for fighters on the down slope of their careers...

True they've been protecting him for years, the fight should have happened many years ago.
