Comments Thread For: Price vs. Chisora Purse Bid Won By Frank Warren

Promoter Frank Warren today won the purse bids for the big heavyweight clash between David Price and Dereck Chisora for the British title.

Finchley puncher Chisora is currently preparing for his European title defence against Matteo Modugno on Saturday 30th November at the Copper Box Arena.

Chisora has previously held the Lonsdale belt when he defeated Danny Williams in May 2010 to win the title and made a defence against Sam Sexton before losing it to Tyson Fury. [Click Here To Read More]

Knowing what we do about Price's chin will spell his absolute doom against Chisora.

No F'n way he makes it out of round 3. Sig it if you want. I can gaurantee this.

chisora is all wrong for price. I would give him more chances in a third clash with thompson (provided that his training focuses on his stamina and on improving that jab).

I'm going out in a limb & saying that Price stops him in three then we'll all think Price is the dogs bollocks again until he loses to Kevin Johnson by kayo in 8 rounds.

        Exactly that.

I want Del Boy to win though.

Is it just my imagination or does Chisora have a new opponent every two weeks or so?

Price can hurt Chisora, but I highly doubt his ability to stop him. And if he doesn't stop him, he isn't winning.

I'm not sure why this fight was ordered.

Price has already said he's not going to fight Chisora.

So he will beat Chisora and lose to Johnson? No way! Chisora will end Prices career! Price better do a tune up first! Price has a weak mentality and a weak chin, thats why he will never be a Top heavyweight. And comming from another loss to Thompson hes no way ready for a guy like Chisora. Chisora is a real fighter and will stop Price. Chisora is on a mission right now and more serious than ever. Im also sure he would beat Fury in a rematch now!

Good fight if it does get made.

But unless Price can knock Chisora out in about 3 rounds he can't win.

The way he gassed against Thompson in the 2nd fight was just bizarre.

Booth is training Price now. If he gets the ref he wants (e.g. Pabon) to take away Chisora's inside game, it's a fight DP could win.
