Seriosuly whats up with some "boxing journalists"

    Ex this: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1...r-brandon-rios

Why are they dismissing and imo disprespecting a boxing legend like pacquiao, lets face it he toyed with bradley and eased his way into a descion and then was dominating the fight against marquez till he ran straight into a punch, credit to marquez, but seriously why are people dismissing him?

From a purely analytical point pacquiao still has the speed, power and boxing skills he had 3 years ago. Its pretty stupid and ignorant to say hes done especially when you are take what hes done throughout his career.

The author is obviously sounding like the "talking points" of Mayweather publicly and not one iota of credit was even mentioned that Pacquiao has done or have achieved as noteworthy.

It is clear and apparent of the agenda.

It wasn't really a good article to begin with while redundancy is everywhere. Is that journalism? No. That is a commentary from one side only. Not even a rebuttle from Pacquiao's side that even if he wins this upcoming fight with Rios, he is already calling him out basically as a retiree.

With Mayweather having his own promotion, it is relatively more understandable being biased but from a supposed writer to dismiss another boxer based purely from his own opinions while not giving the other to "Rebuttle" is clearly unfair. He is practically bashing Pacquiao in his own ring, the supposed sports journalism realm.

What if Pacquiao would bash the writer in his own realm and ring? Would that be fair too?

    It's a farce.

Now that Manny has lost his aura of invincibility a lot of journalists aren't interested him anymore forr some reason. It's not like hes never lost before. Armchair journalists though

Pac kos rios within 6 then arum sets him up to fight alvarado which pac kos him in 2 then they'll get pac to fight some more 140lbers because arum ran out of actual welterweights a few years ago. But in all seriousness pac aint done he'll go on a killing spree again in these next two years

Pac no nowhere done. At all. Physically he is strong, and his stamina is always on point. JMM caught him with a punch that knocks out everybody below 147 and at least knocks down everybody or badly stuns people up to HW. He has always needed someone to give him a fight so he can do damage. People like TB, JMM etc make him lose patience and force him to fight controlled which is something he doesn't do

You're sick and tired of it but here you are talking about it. Just for the record, I don't think Pacquiao is done.

It's the same across most sports - the media love to build someone up, and then knock them down.

I'm not writing Pacquiao off. Not a chance. It will be interesting to see what he has left and how he comes back from that devastating KO.

Then tell your boy to stop being a loser and start winning fights for a change. It's been nearly two years since he did and longer before that convincingly. ;-)

I'm joking relax. But yeah that article was pretty harsh however it's coming from bleacher report so what do you expect?

To be honest Pac is at the end or near the end of his career in boxing and his official record in his last three fights are 1-2 with the most famous KO in recent history, so yes there is reason to believe the end may be near and he might not be the same. We have all seen boxers never completely come back from that type of KO. I will admit the way the guy writes the article it seems Pac is in a rocking chair already. Bob knows this and this is why he set Pac up with a relative punching bag so he can get some of the luster back. Would anyone be suprised if Pac ko's this guy? Exactly, you expect this guy to make Pac look good. Now IF Pac does lose by KO again to THIS guy, You would definitely have to say its OVER for Manny. Cause that would be a 1-3 record in his last fights, but come on say something bad about Manny or Floyd and one thing is for sure, you will get alot of hits just like Rios face will in this fight.
