Where is all the buzz for Pac vs. Rios? (fight only 10 days away)

I find it weird that hardly anyone is talking about Pac vs Rios with the fight so close. A thread here and there, but nothing compared to what Pac used to get around here and elsewhere. Boxing needs Pac to win the fight and look good doing it. Pac and Mayweather have carried boxing since 2007 and if Pac were to disappear, Boxing would take a huge hit, imo. Floyd dominating every fight with no real threat looming is not good for the sport. The possibility of Pac vs, May is still the biggest mainstream story in boxing and I'm afraid if Broner doesn't step up or pan out, that boxing could seriously become irrelevant once Floyd retires. The hardcores will continue to watch and follow everything, but the hardcores are not enough to financially support the sport.

Within a few years, Floyd, Pac, BHop, Martinez, Cotto, the Klit brothers, and Marquez will all retire. Those are the biggest names and biggest box office fighters out there. Left standing will be guys like Bradley, Ward, Garcia, etc, who are all a notch below the names above in terms of skills (they have skill but not Floyd or Pac skill) and box office appeal.

Boxing needs Mayweather and Pac to stick around and remain relevant and I hate to say it, but boxing also needs Broner to be great inside of the ring and an azzhole outside of it so it has someone they can put a face on the sport. I have a feeling that GGG will be long exposed and irrelevant by the time Floyd retires, so no, it won't be him.

I'll be buying the Pac fight by the way. Here's to a KO victory for the sake of boxing.
