I like alexander but he wanted no part of khan when khan was beasting in 140. I think anyone who fights khan has a good chance of beating him and i think alexander knows this.

In a perfect world, Khan and Alexander would fight to determine who gets the mega payday. Alexander has certainly done more than Khan at 147, given that khan has never fought as a welterweight. I dont blame khan though, a mayweather fight with his following the UK would prob net him close to 8-10 mill. That goes down the drain if Alexander sparks him.

Not really when you look at who the sure thing was and who the possible is... A chance to fight on potentially THE biggest promotion of 2014 with a huge payday, or be part of a triple header in a neutral venue against someone who no one likes to watch box and is tricky. Hmmmm....

Yes, I added detail and emphasis to the fighters in question, as your sweeping statement that made it sound like Khan not taking an Alexander fight that would create little buzz in favour of chasing a huge mega fight with the P4P #1 was strange. I respectfully disagree, Khan is doing the correct thing financially and for his career. You also have to believe GBP have given him the impression its likely too. I agree he dont really deserve the shot, but I doubt it'll stop the fight from happening. Even if it doesn't happen, I'm pretty sure Alexander would still fight Khan early 2014 anyway, that's if there wasn't a better/easier/more lucrative option for Khan.

Regardless of where they are in the world, Mayweather Vs whoever he fights in May and September 2014 will be the biggest promotions next year. If they do fight, Khan will get more for fighting Mayweather than he would've fighting Devon.

I think it will still do well based on Mayweather fan base..You saw how the Guerrero fight turned out??Well this well be worse in America believe me..I think some respected Guerrero enough to tune in(me included),I don't think Khan will get the same treatment..I think it will do worse numbers then Mayweather Guerrero..A lot of people won't order this fight(myself included)..
