... Duva (Kovalev's handler) just mentioned Andre Ward...
... Ward seems he's getting "impassed" between Golovin and Kovalev.
(The term "impasse" -- from the card game of Bridge...)

... Now, talented Andre Ward really has the chance to become #1 P4P -- if he beats those Russians.

This is too much, don't you think?

Ward knows that he would face irrelevance if he doesn't fight the best as soon as possible...

          Kinda this^.

I'm not a huge fan of Ward (despite having great respect for his ability), but all he says is that

          A) Him and GGG don't really know each other and aren't friends or anything.

          B) GGG has a great record KOing Second tier fighters, but it's rare for anyone to consistently KO top tier opposittion

          C) He himself, is still learning and feels he could improve his finishing ability.

Nothin' offensive or disrespectful that I picked up on (an' GGGs one of my favourite fighters).

            Ward has a huge talent...

But I'll just wait and see him in this tune up -- because I've learned only recently that Ward had his right shoulder rotator cuff injured since he was 12-13 years old (!?!)... Therefore, I didn't understand previously why Ward's right hand was so weak and why he had to fight in an inverted southpaw stance...

So, it's possible to see a totally different Ward, once he has his right hand back... And if Ward proves to perform better, I guess he would give up his "shy" approach when it comes to facing versatile and hard punching opponents...
