    Macklin to fight Lamar Russ

    Dan Rafael ‏@danrafaelespn 1m
New foe for @mattmacklin on 12/7 on @HBOboxing in place of injured Willie Nelson is Lamar Russ (14-0, 7 KOs), says @loudibella

    Oh well, short notice

Doesn't have a huge twitter following, you could probably get a response from him

He signed with Lou Diabella, sparred Edwin for Ward and Golovkin

He has some camps with some good fighters... so he has some experience in training camp.
Has some very nice words for Golovkin and feels he should be P4P #3.

He's nothing. He's just a sparring partner...he might have something for himself if he beats Macklin... but I doubt it. If anything, he can take a good punch

Calm down... give him a chance to prove himself

Props to him and his team for taking the opportunity on short notice.... hell... who knows what'll come from it.
He might not win, but he's getting himself out there. Plus the sparring sessions gave him good practice

Yea, i'm not knocking it. He's getting himself some exposure, I hope he comes to fight cause at least even if Macklin wins he could make himself look good. A la Rosado.
