Kessler would be nice.
"Top name" in the mix for Golovkin

Maybe Geale saw something during the Stevens fight that leads him to think he has a shot.Yes but like i was saying forget the "top name" aspect of it. Most intriguing to me is getting the impression it was someone they didn't expect to get interest from. Mora has always sounded receptive to fighting Golovkin while Geale has not. I really can't think of many Middleweights it could be, hope its not Soliman.Comment

*Yawn* Wake me up when one of the "top names" decides to grow a pair and sign the contract. It is frustrating being a Triple G fan sometimes with him being so good.
Murray, come on. Sergio where you at? Mayweather, we'll come down to 154 for you... what's up? Andre Ward, stop the excuses... If you're fighting this prospect La Bomba, there is no reason for you not to face Triple G.
Let your hype job get wins against top 5 at 160 before talking about the best 168 pounder.Comment

With his style, and eventual move up to 168, 4 years would be about what you'd expect. 35-36 is about the age that fighters just start going down. Very few have been able to fight past that age at the very top level in recent years, Mayweather is at the age right now, Hopkins has gone light years above 35, Marquez, Wlad, Vitali, Martinez. Rigondeaux may be able to pull it off when that time comes.
I would be impressed if Golovkin is beating top 3 opponents at 35. He hasn't even started doing that now and he is already 31.Comment
