Seems inevitable, doesn't it? I was talking the other day with my old man and he said that there will come a point where the top names will have no choice but to face Golovkin if he stays making noise. It is frustrating though because those who have followed him for a while know that he is ready for the top names and I feel like he is just wasting energy/time beating up on those who have the balls to fight him until he gets a top name. It's gotten to the point where it's hard to get excited if the fight is not with a top name, feels like a waste of time.Comment

He was supposed to fight Golovkin on HBO but injuried his back. Last I heard, around the time Wlad fought Povetkin... he said he was planning a comeback but I didn't hear a timeframe for a return.
Back injuries are devastating but I have a feeling he will be back. You gotta feel for him not getting that Martinez fight when he was healthy.
Martinez ducked himComment
