Murray, come on. Sergio where you at? Mayweather, we'll come down to 154 for you... what's up? Andre Ward, stop the excuses... If you're fighting this prospect La Bomba, there is no reason for you not to face Triple G.
GGG didn't want to move up to SMW yet did he? Ward isn't ducking GGG and GGG isn't ducking Ward. I think in a year or so, this fight will happen on HBO PPV.

Last I heard, he reinjured himself in Feb and it could be career ending

I hope their definition for top guy isn't the same as oscars de la hoyas definition
Hopefully. I agree with your assessment.

I love that too but he kinda has to, he's 31 yo already. We'll be lucky to get another 8-10 more years from him.

I think Geale just waiting for Barker/Sturm winner.
Doesn't he have a rematch clause with the winner?

Seems inevitable, doesn't it? I was talking the other day with my old man and he said that there will come a point where the top names will have no choice but to face Golovkin if he stays making noise. It is frustrating though because those who have followed him for a while know that he is ready for the top names and I feel like he is just wasting energy/time beating up on those who have the balls to fight him until he gets a top name. It's gotten to the point where it's hard to get excited if the fight is not with a top name, feels like a waste of time.

No way, Sturm-Barker have a rematch clause. If he does, thats a rather ridiculous web of rematch clauses

He was supposed to fight Golovkin on HBO but injuried his back. Last I heard, around the time Wlad fought Povetkin... he said he was planning a comeback but I didn't hear a timeframe for a return.

Back injuries are devastating but I have a feeling he will be back. You gotta feel for him not getting that Martinez fight when he was healthy.

                    Martinez ducked him
