Comments Thread For: Mayweather Feels Honored With WBC's 'Supreme' Title

Las Vegas - Ten-Time World Champion Floyd "Money" Mayweather can add another honor to his growing list of accolades as the World Boxing Council (WBC) has named him WBC Supreme Champion. Representatives from the 165 countries that form the WBC unanimously voted to bestow Mayweather with this unique award following his many years as a WBC Champion complemented by his 2013 back-to-back wins against former WBC welterweight champion Robert Guerrero and former WBC Super Welterweight World Champion Canelo Alvarez.

    Supreme Brown nosing.....

Hey WBC you're gonna get paid anyway lmfao. It's like bringing flowers for a hooker....ya get laid anyway so what's the point. Coming up with this horrendously transparent " title" is laughable. The world is embarrassed for you.
Why don't you ask Floyd to take one risk in his career, just one and fight somebody in there prime, not dehydrated, not undersized, not too green and not too old. When it's all said and done what people will say is..." ya he had God given reflexes and ya he trained hard but basically he avoided everybody who was a threat and waited until the tables were so tipped toward him that a win was a minimum standard. Undefeated doesn't mean **** if you never took on all comers and Floyd has never ever done that. people are making money off him so they won't tell him that is what is going to happen but that is what is going to happen. And for once tell Floyd to actually get in a fight out there. Piling up points with sissy punches all night is NOT crowd pleasing at all.

He was supposed to silence the critics by stepping up and facing Canelo at 154. What else do you people want, sit back and enjoy.

If he actually did fight Canelo at 154 then the critics would be silenced.

" I don't fight at catch weights, I want guys where they are comfortable at, if he's comfortable at 154 then we will fight at 154 " - Floyd Mayweather Jr.

                  There it is...
.everytime Floyd beats someone, you find a flaw and say that is the reason they were a cherrypick. Floyd could fight Jesus and you would "he waited til Jesus was crucified and shot to ****....he avoided him in his prime"

They fought at a catch weight which means neither fighter was at their usual fighting weight. If GGG wants Floyd why not do it a catch weight. Otherwise just wipe out all the competition in his division.
