He took a break ...a long one after Hatton. But I guess you figure that because its floyd its ok to charge an exhorbitant amount of money and get paid tens of millions of dollars for his yearly carefully selected exhibition. I guess it sucks for the tens of thousands of other boxer's getting paid very little and simply cant afford to take a break.

If someone has been doing it half or over half their life then I have no problem with them taking a break when they want (Floyd or any boxer). They have earned that right. Boxing does not end with Mayweather. So if you have noticed boxing has been on all year with Floyd fighting only twice. I been overly satisfied, have you?

You are whining because floyd charges a lot of money for his fights. You don't order his fights anyway, so why the **** does it matter what he charges?

Boxers are independent contractors. They have to do what they can to elevate their income. floyd did that. why are you complaining about it.

I'm a fan of neither fighter per se, I'm a boxing fan who can take a balanced view and see things without them being nuanced by rabid fanboyism. You, sadly cannot say the same as you are a hardcore floyd devotee.
