Pacquiao's demeanor was never been aggressive but a passive approach to beat the demands. He does not agree with Floyd dictating the issues of fighting because he is just like him, a fighter.

Not taking the drug test (at the moment) is the way not to succumb to Floyd's demands and tactics. Floyd also demanded all of the PPV money and thus his offer to Pac personally via phone for $40M flat fee.

And so they didn't see eye to eye.

What could have been done is for a strong commission to 'order' a mandatory fight between them instead of letting it up to the promoters to build up a fight.

The sport has been marred already by über-commercialization and the very thought of prize-money. The greed towards money has become the ultimate prize instead of the championship.

Pac was giving out beatings then Floyd said he'd rumble him if dude agreed to the drug testing.....Pac said no to the testing....gave his reasons and people bought it.....everything after that was just for the public opinion scoreboard...Pac sued Floyd and never participated in the drug testing game until he got iced by Marquez who ironically has been placed in the same hot seat Pac was placed in years ago...the cheat seat!!!

I don't need a history lesson on this one.....Pac should've been taking these tests imo.....I remember specifically Mosley and Marquez stating that they'd take the tests when they fought Pac but his team was the ones who declined...that's what I remember

Glad dude taking the tests now though....imo it wasn't a good look for him to decline in the first place....I bet Arum was pulling the strings on that stuff anyway....it is what it is!!!
They only did not agreed on cutoff... I stop reading from there coz you already twisted the FACT...

Passive? Pacquiao almost cancelled the Hatton fight like 2 weeks left to go because he wanted more money. He is a diva just like Mayweather. More of a diva, even.

This is why the sport has suffered from the SPECULATIONS and MYTHICAL match ups instead of actually fighting in the ring - validating the championships.

Back then, the best fights the best, nowadays, it depends entirely whether a fighter is "noteworthy" enough to generate big purses to validate the fight.

This is akin to a ratings war in college football to validate their playoff positions, therefore a true no.1 vs no.2 team to play in the championship is a rarity. Why? Because it's been been put into polls.

Mayweather chooses his opponents as if HE is the prize instead of the belt. That is a sport that has gone wrong. There should be a higher commission or governing body to oversee the fairness and validity of the fights, rankings and mandatory defenses.

Again I ask. You're calling people out for using alts when you are clearly one yourself. Who were you before getting banned for being a nobhead?

Why are you harassing me? I had two obvious alts trying to gang up on me and THEY were hurling the insults first.

Don't be mad because I'm exposing your buddies for lack of intellect/logic/analysis/reasoning. Internet cafes must be packed today huh?

Well...Mayweather called Pacquiao personally for a $40M flat fee so that he can own up 100% of the PPV. Isn't that a much more defined DIVA? A split between two champs is logical, fair and rational.

It was a crap offer for sure. But when GBP said theyd rather sit down and work out a fair split. Arum said no and signed Bradley up
