VIDEO: Joseph Agbeko + Roger Mayweather showing ZERO chemistry on the mitts

personally i find this alarming. i wouldnt be surprised if this video was even capable of persuading vegas to change the line on this fight.

you cant show work like that in the gym and be too successful for your fight against a master.

    thoughts guys?

I saw this vid the other day I was cracking up. Roger has no patience. Prob cause him and Floyd are so good he expects the same from everybody else

Yea, the video is pretty funny. Roger doesn't have patience at all lol. But Roger's style of mitts is not very easy to pick up.

I wonder about Roger as a trainer though because he seems to train everyone the same way. This is the same mitt combinations he gives to Floyd. Maybe there are some other things he's showing Agbeko we don't see, but I question trying to apply the same system to every fighter.

Thats the way Rodger is with EVERYONE not named Floyd, it takes a little while to get his mitt work down and until then he will rail you until you get it right.

But unfortunately for Joseph it will take more than getting Rodger's mitt work down to beat Rigo.

Sounds like you've never boxed before lol. The mitts are not hard but it takes getting used to, just like the speed bag.

ZERO chemistry and ZERO professionalism by Roger, he is just wasting Agbeko's time..

                  Right...

Two trainers can catch the exact same combinations and it'll still take some getting used to because each one will catch with slightly different rhythm/timing, placement and intensity. That chemistry comes with time.

poor guys thinking you dont need chemistry lol.. please watch another sport

anyways i think roger should tone it down a bit, but theres this video too, not sure if its just another angle, but it seems like theyve been working on it for a bit and agbeko still isnt getting it

so i dont know really if rogers impatient or if agbekos just a bit dumb

but to his credit even rigondeax stumbled a bit with roger:
