Rigo vs Donaire is a boring fight as evidence by the booing, they are both counter puncher, if Donaire does not lead there will be no fight, Rigo won't lead bec Donaire has a one punch power to knock him out.

Its best if they are match with slugger and maulers.

Rigo whooped him and did it without question. I guess because Rigo doesn't have any more big fights

Good lord, I know this has nothing to do with it.

But Arum won't even let Donaire near Rigon....and you think it was ever possible for a Mayweather Vs Pacquiao fight????? And add to that Rigon is a Top Rank fighter....

not sure why so many are yelling at Arum. The man is who he is. And despite your opinion of him...he has given us some of the best fights of this year. sure he lies and is full of shenanigans but i enjoy the fights he's made and will continue to watch.

              Good. Pointless rematch.

I know who the better fighter is between Donaire and Rigo. No need to see it again.

Folks are quick to say one fighter is/has ducked another fighter. Fighters do not duck one another, the promoters and match makers do. As you can see from this article and the article on this site regarding Burns vs. Crawford - Burns vs. Beltran II. There are a gang of fights that the fans would like to see along with a gang of fights the fighters would like to have. However, the promoters & match makers only want to provide the fights that make them the most money. They seem to only want to give the fans the fights they want when the are cashing out their cash cow. Not always but more times than not.
I feel there is more to the Rigo/Arum story than what the public hears/sees etc... I would not be shocked, if Rigo attempts to break his contract with TR should he beat Abeko.

i don't get it either...the fight wasn't very exciting and it wasn't even close either...if donaire wants a rematch with rigo and avenge his 2nd loss then all to him, but i won't hold me breath if it doesn't happen.

donaire vs nicholas walters is an intriguing match up and an opportunity for donaire to position himself to a world title fight against chris john..or an opportunity for walters to establish himself in the 126 lb division...

I agree that Rigo has nothing to prove, but Donaire is entitled to a rematch if he wants one, he gave Rigo a shot when he could have just avoided him. Of course it would have to be on Rigo's terms, but if Donaire is serious enough about a rematch that he is willing to drop back down to 122, the honorable thing for Rigo to do is give him his rematch (not to mention it would be his most lucrative option).

As for Donaire vs Walters, terrible fight for Donaire. I have never seen this Walters guy fight so I don't know how good he is, but right now he is a nobody with a paper belt. Donaire has nothing to gain from beating him, and considering how unmotivated he looked against Darch, he might not get up for this fight. If Walters is any good, he has a chance of pulling the upset.
