Showtimes tripleheaders are all better this year but this wasn't bad. All of the winning fighters looked like **** at times though lol

ufc? Never seen professional athletes get so tired from hugging and rolling around.

The most impressive part about ufc is that they don't get boners during their fights.

        UFC is for trash.

I watch Showtime boxing. The best fighting the best.

HBO execs are going to have a meeting Monday morning to discuss boxing with head of Sports Ken Hershman. His job is in danger.

I don't think the fights are necessarily boring but HBO's presentation is what I think bores me since I have been watching showtime more

You had Deandre Jordan or whatever his name is go against one of the Kardashian Brothers.

Nonito Donaire go against a 37-year-old washed up fighter... who he had trouble with until he finally realized he had to do something about it.

Then you had the homely looking bastard Rocky Road beat some Puerto Rican scrub. One of Cotto's bathroom dumps could beat Rocky Road. Not to mention the guy knocked down Rocky.

This is all HBO has now. Quite sad, really.

That had be chuckling but we all know this isn't HBO's show piece event this year, Top Rank and the TV network have put on some great shows this year.

Everything went as expected in terms of results but we got to see how far Donaire has come since Rigondeaux...which is to say he has gone backwards and I'll be surprised if we see him winning against the elite of the sport ever again.

We also got a new champ at 154 who in the years to come may face off against Lara or Angulo or Trout or maybe Cotto so that's not so bad.

To top it all off we got to see that Mikey is a far better fighter than possibly 90% of guys at his weight because what he did to Martinez is a rarity.

Last night card was acceptable for an HBO card on the lower end. They do need to improve next year, that was a card you could consider building a fighter up. Some other cards this year were waste of times, big fights need to be made happen no more building fighter up, Martinez is going run out his HBO fight contract on tune ups at this rate.
