Terrible performance. I have more respect for how Darchinyan fought than Nonito. It always sucks to watch a fighter I like not only change nothing after a loss, but actually repeat their flaws in worse fashion.

At least if he fought Salido it would be a guy coming right at him. Might delay the inevitable embarrassment one fight.

I rock with Flash....I like the dude but imo Vic lost the fight more than Flash winning it....Rigo would've never gave Flash the chance to land that punch late....Vic dumbed out imo....Flash got some issues atm....I don't know what they are but dude gotta get his **** back together....he fought a wack ass fight imo

Vic looked good, thought it would be easy win for Nonito, but i had Vic wining at the time of the KO. Nonito had a blank look on his face and looked spaced out.

But i'm glad he pulled off the KO

Yes, I think he should fight MAX's BOY again soon

another left hook waiting feast from nonito... he better learn to throw the jab and apply smart pressure if he plans to rematch rigo...

not disappointed with him though, dude got surgery and a long lay-off.. and as the tomb raiders in this forum said, rigo "took his heart and soul".. whatever that means

As many have said here, Donaire did not look good last night. Then again, there was the surgery and the heart breaking loss to Rigondeaux but what I saw last night is something I have seen happen to numerous exceptional fighters in the past. Donaire's reflexes have slowed, his handspeed is not quite there and the desire is starting to fade, this happens, it goes hand in hand with the sport.

Can Donaire come back from it? I doubt it, he looks like half the fighter he was 12 months ago and the only part of his Flash that he has retained is his power, then again, the last thing a fighter loses is his power.

tonights darchinyan would've beat 99% of 126 pounders out there, cong**** to donaire and to darchinyan for showing he still has it.

People need to realise that once you have a shoulder injury in boxing, it could be over.

I hope Andre Ward is OK when he is back.

Montiel was so so? He was the bantamweight king, were you even following boxing back then?

Montiel wasn't that great. He lost some fights one to Jhonny Gonzalez, in his prime. He had two good runs with his victories over Hasegawa and Concepcion, but that was it. Who ever was thinking little Montiel was going to give Donaire a much bigger and faster boxer a problem clearly didn't follow boxing.

The TKO made up for Donaire's overall performance. His performance wasn't great but he won, that's all he has to do. The way Donaire finished him was one of the best I've seen in awhile. After he hurt Darchinyan, every punch he threw after that was to cause permanent damage.

I've never been a fan of Darchinyan but I kinda feel bad for him. He deserved the win IMO.
