Elk, Poland - In the main fight of the event, promoted by Andrzej Gmitruk, young middleweight Maciej Sulecki (17-0, 3 KOs) continued his rise with a clear win over experienced Lukasz Wawrzyczek (18-3-2, 2 KOs) in a bout of two feather-fisted technicians for the vacant Polish middleweight crown.
After the first two rounds, which were pretty much even, faster and better-equipped Sulecki started to take over. His advantage was hardly visible at first but grew with each fought round. Wawrzyczek did his best to even the fight but he was unable to do that. Sulecki was under fire but when he was seemingly fatigued, he fired back with hard right and left hooks. The end of the fight was fought on even terms once again. At the end, there was no doubt of who was the winner this night - it was Sulecki. Scores were: 99-91, 98-92 and 99-93 - for the new Polish champion Maciej Sulecki. [Click Here To Read More]
