I don't even know what that would look like. I honestly don't see any world that Manny would win this fight.

according to most on here,Floyd is a cherry picking coward with feather fist..so why would a win over him mean anything?

larry's right, floyd is just a hypejob, pacquiao would beat him, but it would do nothing for his legacy
about as meaningful as a shot roy jones beating that hanshaw fellow
pacquiao could use this cherrypick if he gets passed rios though, he needs a break from the ko artists

There is no such thing as GOAT. You can't call one fighter the GOAT, thats just ALI doing his hype and gorgeous George persona to sell his fights.
All you have is ATG's All time greats. To label one fighter the GOAT takes everything away from the hundreds of ATG's who put in work.
i never use the greatest of all time tag ever, because its subjective and its a disservice to boxing.

His whole career has been carefully steered, to give a credulous following the smoke and mirrors effect. None of the above opponents was better than average, some a lot less, and his best opponent by far was a Cotto already on the slide.
He got a "gift" decision against Castillo whose main claim to fame was that he was the sparring partner of Julio Cesar Chavez for 6 years. If Emanuel Augustus with 18 losses, had had a punch, we'd never have heard much ore from Mayweather, at least or a long while, because Augustus hit him more than any other fighter until maybe Cotto.
Popularity of some of those opponents has nothing to do with their skills, though a few may get into the HOF.

Floyd apparently sucks and should have never been born so it wouldn't do anything to Pac's legacy which hasn't been added to since 2009 after a catchweight win over a fighter who had just come back from quitting in the ring vs a known cheat.
Pac's on a losing streak and continues to fight guys who do not fight at welter weight. His legacy is already sealed as a first round ballet into the HOF.

It would do a lot for him if he did it now in the context of everything but no it wouldn't even put him in the top ten or even on the top tier if you want to break it down that way.
