Marquez vs Matthysse: Will it sell

JMM has said time and again he's not yet ready to retire, I think this intriguing match-up, Marquez vs Lucas Matthysse will sell more than Marquez pursuing a Bradley rematch or fighting anyone from Bob Arum's stable (Rios, Alvarado and Provo).

Both had only one clear loss to Danny Garcia and Floyd Mayweather, while their other losses were all close, this fight makes sense as Matthysse has once express interest in fighting Erik Morales and made Mexican Humberto Soto quit.

Bradley schooled Marquez so add that to his clear loss list lol.
But that would be a good fight, I think Matthysse takes it

50 50 fight, i used to pick matthysse heavily in this fight but it could depend on a lot of things, drug testing being one, how well lucas eye has healed and if it's going to be prone to blowing up again (let's face it, it's highly possible that it could be a permanent problem area for the rest of his career)

would be ****ing amazing though.. i doubt either guy gets a stoppage, lucas might be able to drop marquez a few times but win a round or two fewer but still edge the fight on points due to the KD's

You guys serious?? I'm a big Matthysse fan, but I truly feel Marquez would take this. I think his ability to control distance, combined with his counter punching would win him the fight.

That all depends, of course, on whether Matthysse is able to make an early impression on the older Marquez.

Who cares if it sells or how much it sells. I see posters on here acting like they get a profit out of the sale of a PPV & defending their fighter like he's family... As long as it's a good fight/ boxing match I'll watch & if it's really good it'll be remembered & talked about like the great classics battles we've seen in this sport.
