FULLY aware that he was live on air via a Philippine radio show, former world champion Vic Darchinyan took the opportunity of sending a message to the countrymen of his upcoming opponent Nonito Donaire, Jr.

During a telephone interview with this writer’s daily morning show “Sports Chat” over DZSR Sports Radio 918kHz, Darchinyan revealed that apart from avenging the most embarrassing loss of his career, the Australia-based Armenian champion said he wants to refute a particular praise about his Filipino tormentor. I have to disagree with Darchinyan. I love Pacquiao and believe he was Fighter of the Decade and will go down in history as one of the best to ever fight in the ring. Donaire can be the next Pacquiao and has done so much already that he is very close to accomplishing that goal. Tonights fight will further cement Donaire's legacy as one of the best fighters ever.

def not if he's gna be fighting you twice vic smh

donaires just too light & frail, would never thrive in 140+
he's already 30, mad tall for the 120's, but might be able to snag a belt at 135.. will never be a pov main attraction, unfortunately

wonder why he never fought on a pac undercard, that was ******
