Comments Thread For: Chisora: Cleverly Has The Hunger Back, Wants it Bad

European Heavyweight Champion Dereck Chisora has backed former WBO World Light-Heavyweight Champion Nathan Cleverly to become a world champion again.

The Finchley puncher defends his title against Matteo Modugno on Saturday 30th November at the Copper Box Arena and Cleverly’s makes his cruiserweight debut in the chief-support against Australian Daniel Ammann for the Vacant Commonwealth title.

Chisora wanted to quit boxing after his loss to David Haye but has turned his career around and could be on the verge of a second world title opportunity next year, while Cleverly considered quitting after his crushing world title loss to Sergey Kovalev in August. [Click Here To Read More]

I don't know who's more delusional Chisora, for thinking that he has made something of his career and that he has a real title or Cleverly, for thinking that after getting knocked out by a guy in his natural weight class that he can move up 25 pounds and be able to restart his career.

Chisora today is better than ever but Cleverly wont make it at cruiserweight.
He has the skills but i doubt he can take the power of a real cruiser.

Good luck to Clev, it will be interesting to see if he can crack it.

Cleverly "wants it bad"? How bad?
Is this a kind of joke?... Make him watch that last fight again...

              I will subscribe to this...
I never heard about a professional fighter who holds an university degree in mathematics... That's unprecedented, I think...

                European champion isn't "nothing".

And I don't know about Cleverly being in his natural weight class before... his frame seemed very big for such a small build.

Wanting it bad and having the tools to do so are two different things. I wish Clev the best but he will be outgunned at the higher weight class.

So if it Isn't nothing, it must be something.. But seriously, thats a bold statement for someone who has never fought for it.
