Middleweight contender Matthew Macklin (29-5, 20KOs) has added some additional muscle to his corner in the form of Manchester trainer Joe Gallagher, according to Birmingham Mail. Macklin returns on December 7th against Willie Nelson (21-1-1, 12KOs) at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. He already brought on former foe, Jamie Moore, to also work in his corner. Macklin is looking to get back on his feet after suffering a one-shot knockout loss to champion Gennady Golovkin in June.
