This is why Wilder can't step up

You can't fix a chin, Khan already showed that.
might as well continue his line of opposition until they can get a soft touch for a belt so he can hold it hostage European style.
Seriously though. Even Rosado has less amateur fights (11) and less pro fights and he's looking 10 times better than Wilder.

Gotta protect the investment though and milk them for all they're worth. Never know when the winds will blow again and crack a chin

Well Rosado came up the hard way. Learned on the job and learned from his experiences. That's why he gets much respect from me even though he's been whining a lot. Dude faced Guerrero, who's had a ton more experience than him in his twelfth fight, and gave a good account of himself.

Hell, he had that Ouma win two fights later... not bad.

But Wilder is wait and see. I too would like to see him get in there with decent opposition... maybe we'll see that soon

I don't mind, so long as he could provide with exciting fights I'm good. I'll be content with that alone considering the division.

He beats a few, but Vitali and Wladimir no.....just no.

I think he's done for the year... so maybe we'll see something next year. GBP starting to talk big game about him... so maybe a step up is coming up soon

I can't see him improving his chin much if he was getting decked with headgear on. He does have RAW power and the reputation alone is what's doing it for him atm. Someone like Arreola who isn't afraid of a rep may soon open Wilder upto the big bad world of heavyweight boxing.

You can fix a chin. Fighters are just born with it.
We all saw it with Khan... got hurt easily in the Ams and that transitioned into the pros... doesn't recover well at all either like other fighters

Tyson Fury vs Wilder best out of 3 would be great, they would both push each other to actually learn proper defense for every round.

He will step up when the time is right for him - I will keep pointing back to why he is boxing in the first place, and that's his daughter who has a medical condition. So, there is likely a financial well-being aspect to how his career has been managed to this point. And that's in addition to being a raw product in boxing terms like you're saying. So yeah, you might be right as to what could happen once he does step up, but I think he will be carefully put into the mix soon enough. Honestly I'm surprised he's still around taking it serious, so I give him credit for that tbh. I know plenty others think he should have fast tracked this a long time ago but I like having him around right now

He's got speed and reaction time to beat some. I, for one, am a Tyson Fury believer and think he can go a long way, but I'd like Wilder's chances in that fight

Somebody getting KO'd in that fight.
Fury is way more tested though and has fought the much better opposition. That right hand will hurt him badly thought from Wilder....he just needs to get there first
