    DLH vs. Whitaker Scorecard

I just watched this full fight for the first time and scored it 113-113, a draw. Those judges who gave DLH a 4 and 6 point lead where completely biased or blind. How did you score this controversial bout?

So, no one scored this one. I bet that if it was about a Pacquiao fight, there would have been 30 replies already.

Remind of the scores for Jirov-Toney. The fight was very close and yet the scores were heavily in favor of Toney. Jirov was not credit for body blows (even though I think Toney won).

      I never saw DLH-Whitaker though.

I think Toney won by one or two points. It's ridiculous when some Toney nuthuggers make it seem like Jirov was dominated.

I had Sweetpea by 2 points. I thought it was close, but Sweetpea definitely won it. I thinkhis clowning when DLH couldn't hit him hurt him. He should have been taptaptapping away instead of mugging.

Whitaker by 2 is acceptable. That means that you gave him one more round than I did. I had it 6 rounds each, but it's 113-113 because each fighter lost a point.

yes, I thought that Whitaker won that one too, but then again, I may have been a little biased in wanting to see De La Hoya lose. The point about the mugging though is very true, guys like Emmanuel Augustus have lost many fights on the cards that they clearly won in my opinion, but I think that the judges penalized them for the clowning (which isn't fair to do).

I used to hate DLH because everyone thought that he was so great and I really didn't see a lot about him that impressed me. And besides, I felt that he was getting gifts in his close fights. I think I finally began to like DLH after he got robbed against Trinidad. I rooted for Tito the whole way, but when the decision was read I knew that it was wrong whether I wanted it or not. Since then, I kinda like the Golden Boy, once I saw that even he wasn't immune to the underhanded politics of boxing.

I saw Trinidad-DLH live on PPV. I am a Puerto Rican, but when the fight finished, I remember I thought Trinidad did not perform good at all. Years later, I rewatched the fight and have watched it many times. I still score 114-114.
