He has my support... I actually saw the Rigo fight as closer than most did... Rigo was very inactive in spots...and he got kd...

I don't like the constant griping by Donaire... but I feel he's also trying to convince himself. Some guys let a defeat get into their head. He might have noticed a twinge in his shoulder in other fights but still was able to win, but against Rigo he might have felt that same twinge, and lost, and so, tells HIMSELF he lost because he wasn't 100%. He even went and got the surgery, so we know that's not an excuse only for the fans' benefit. I think also just because he said he was in beast mode prefight, that that doesn't necessarily mean he's had the best camp ever. Have to keep appearances up, alot of fighters do that. Look at DLH before the Pac fight, he said all kinds of things to sell that fight when DLH's readiness was nonexistent.. I think its very possible Donaire underestimated Rigo.

Does this all come across as excuses? yes. But is he trying to convince us? or himself? A fighter's pride and confidence are important to maintain to keep them functioning at a top level, and some lose more graciously than others.

Your show putter was the one that made the fight boring just like he has done before many times, he was the one talking about taking out Rigondeaux, and being aggressive before the fight, but what does he actually do? Gets gun shy after getting tagged a few times, and gets completely out classed and dominated by a better counter puncher you alts are just circle jerking each other bumping threads hoping he gets some attention the whole world abandoned Donaire after his excuse crying b*tch tour not the loss.

If you really want to paint Donaire as this always exciting trying all he can to put on a show boxer you deff don't know **** about boxing, and it means I've watched more of his fights than you dude he has been booed time and time again.
