Muttley85: I thought Murray had served time for a violent crime.

Martin Murray is the only worthwhile fighter out of the 4 mentioned, at this stage.

      It's a shame he won't be fighting

Think hes done little bits here and there for being trouble when he was younger but Towers kidnapped someone and burned them with an iron for 3 days and think hes also tried to kill people as well.

It's a decent Commonwealth title fight between a bloke about 9th in the world & a bloke about 30th.
Murray is higher than ninth imo, having arguably beaten #5 Sturm and Ring champ Martinez in their backyards (let's face it, he needed a stoppage in both).

Well given the hundreds of thousands of boxers who compete at a given weight class worldwide, I don't mind 4 belt champions.

No he did not torture the man at all !

"Richard Towers (then known as Hayles) was imprisoned for 13 years after being part of a gang which inflicted three days of agony on a man who was held at gunpoint, and tortured with a steam iron, hammer and stun gun. He played no part in the man's ordeal but was involved in the kidnap which led to a £150,000 ransom demand. Towers served six and a half years before his release"

Notice the bit about HE PLAYED NO PART IN THE MANS ORDEAL !!! Yes he was involved in the initial kidnap though .
