What's Canelo making? As long as Cotto is getting the bigger share, this is a good deal and probably better than what he can get for Sergio. Cotto has good options in front of him, but I still think that wanting to be the first PR to win titles in 4 different weight classes means something to him.

And on the same hand, when Cotto beats Martinez and becomes the lineal MW champ, Schaefer better increase the offer.

Cotto should be the one making the offer.

Schaefer wants this fight done before Canelo's ass gets whoop by GBP stablemates in the division. If Cotto decides to fight Martinez, Schaefer will be left with trying to look for non-threatening fights for Canelo for the next whole year.
