Why? the dude is new to the business, give him a chance, you don't become Bob Arum or GBP overnight. Hell I can't see how someone as famous as 50 can be anything but good for the sport due to the amount of new fans he can bring to the sport, at the very least.

Boxing is a short career and 2 years out your prime can be devastating. Gamboa and Dirrell are both missing out on there best years thanks to this moron. 50's got a lot of money, he could throw a huge amount of money down the line for some big fights, and I'm not sure why you think he doesn't have a lot of credibility but isn't he well respected in the hip-hop/rap community? He can use his music, among other things to draw interest and more fans into boxing. Like I said it takes a lot of time to really get things going as a promoter and he has a lot of money, now he just needs some more experience and time to make things click.

I'm not saying he's going to be an ATG promoter, I'm just saying I don't think he's hurting the sport at all, like you're saying. (again I am not too informed on the Dirrell, Gamboa situations, though)
