** Waiting for his and Byrd's lawsuit against King to finalize so they can fight in Germany this spring.

Byrd is probably in his hobbit hole again, hoping he fights Brewster. Brewster has said he only wants to fight other titlists, none of which are available except Byrd. And Byrd is trying to figure a way to hang onto his belt without fighting Wlad. But Don hasn't let his titlists fight each other yet, so I doubt he will start now.

Who knows? Nobody really wants to face Wlad after seeing his performance against Peter, IMHO.

You couldn't be more wrong. Even Manny Steward said that Byrd wanted the fight, but Byrd's then promoter, King, wouldn't let him.

Now they're in a legal battle. Why do you think Byrd doesn't wanna fight Wlad, hes already fought him, his brother, the monster Ike Ibeabuchi, and David Tua.

Yeah this resume looks like a guy who is trying to hide.

          BYRD IS NOT AFRAID!

Its all honorable and **** that he wants to fight Wlad again. Hes just not gonna beat him, plain and simple.

Did I say he would beat him? I've said that if they fight again, like I have always said, he would lose, and lose by KO.

Let the jury note that CITA states that Byrd will get his ass kicked.

If you have seen my previous posts on the issue, like everyone has, you'll see that I have said this all along. But guess what, Wlad should win, all the intangibles are in his favor.

Byrd could not beat Wlad, even if he was at his best. Too big, too strong, too skilled. Its just a bad style matchup for Byrd.

I say Wlad stops Byrd in round 10.

That's the reason he turned down $3.5M/$2.5M to face Wlad in favor of $400k to fight Williamson? That's the reason King was all over the press begging Byrd to take the Wlad fight last year? LOL Look in the BT interview archives... there's a video interview with King BEGGING Byrd to sign the fight for the $3.5M in Germany or $2.5M in the US. King said if Byrd doesn't sign, then Byrd doesn't need to complain about not making his minimum, since King delivered a fight and the $$. Finkel also confirmed that Byrd was offered the fight and those numbes and turned them down. Byrd lied about not knowing about the offer. He actually caught himself in lies last year. First he said Wlad "wasn't worthy" and then changed it to "I never heard about the offer." LOL Yeah, 50 million people know about the offer all over the internet, your promoter is begging you in interviews to take it over the course of two weeks, but you never heard of the offer? LOL Byrd is a joke, dude.

Why would Byrd not want to fight him? Gee, maybe because he took a terrible one-sided thrashing in their first fight? Maybe because Byrd matches up terribly to Wlad. If I were Byrd, I wouldn't want to fight him either. It's a good matchup for Wlad, so I don't blame him for wanting Byrd over the tougher challenges like Rahman, Toney and Brewster. But please don't act like Byrd didn't dodge Wlad last year, because that's just silly.
