Mayweather is too smart, and adapts to fast and would take all those advantages away not getting hit being slick, and elusive. Golovkiin is there to be hit with overhand rights, jabs, pull counters and straight rights.

Outside of a punchers chance. He has no chance.
I think GGG has more than a punchers chance. He's technical and moves his feet well. He is seldom out of position and cuts off the ring like an expert. That said, Mayweather gets the nod but GGG presents the biggest threat to Floyd hands down because of the size, power, and weight

so everyone wants to see ggg vs floyd, BUT they dont want ggg to come down in weight, so basically what you are saying is that they want floyd to go up to 160 and fight ggg right? it just amazes me how most ppl want floyd to be at the disadvantage in every fight, i truly believe that if floyd fought klitschko then fans on this board would want the fight to be at the HW limit.

And who the **** is ggg anyway to where he controls the demands with floyd, if they ever fought it would be at the weight floyd wanted, what ring size, glove size, what date and what venue floyd wanted, i think he's earned that over ggg.

You ppl just go from one person to the next to who is gonna beat or annihilate floyd, and say the same ****** stuff "floyd will never fight him because floyd is a coward" = OLD

          I agree...

Floyd is just too savvy to let a guy like GGG get to him. Its not necessarily because I favor boxers over pressure fighters all the time, its just that Floyd took one of the paths to the mountain and he sitting there waiting for whoever makes it up there. Have to respect the quality of Floyd's craft.

Although I will say GGG is the best fight out there for Floyd, aside from Sergio.

This is a fight that will never happen, because as much as I admire Mayweather's boxing gifts, he does not have the ambition and in many ways the courage to move up to middleweight to fight any of their champions. There was a time when a clash between a welterweight and middleweight champion was an almost foregone conclusion bu times have changed and the light-middle division has become a popular tourist destination for exceptional welterweights.

Can Golovkin then move down to 154? He may be able to but I doubt he will and I doubt Mayweather would feel comfortable facing a much bigger man at the full 154lb limit, considering he faced the much smaller Alvarez at 152.

There is only one man left to fight Mayweather who poses any problems and will have me watching with much anticipation and that is a certain Mnany Pacquiao.

              You're Right!!!

Because he would never fight GGG in the first place.

It would be ******ed of him to be trapped into a corner by a heavy hitter like GGG to be honest.
How many times did Cotton and Ortiz trap him? And how big, strong, and punishing are those guys?

And you're not even using common sense. Floyd doesn't have the power to stop GGG from coming forward and trapping him. Floyd starts out at a disadvantage for the simple fact that he's going to be backing up the whole time against a fighter with a long, snapping jab. He's already going to be busy with the jab. Then you add in the fact that Floyd's the one that has to worry about the power and pressure all night.

GGG applies smart pressure. When I added the fact that he's not going to get check hooked into the turnbuckle, Iwas alluding to the fact that GGG is not a dumb pressure fighter. He'scalculated, and will land on Floyd. The difference is, GGG is a MW for Gods sake. Any one punch can end the night for Floyd.

                That's why he's a stylistic nightmare.

You need to understand that their are limitations.

And against Mayweather you would need to land it clean and that would not be easy. But hey we can call him a "coward" lol
You need to understand the fight game. GGG's speed doesn'tcome into the equation because of his style and his jab.

He can keep Floyd at the end of his punch, and hes very good at the distance game.

He applies long, pressure. The type of pressure where you're still at the end of his punch.

This isn't Hatton, Ortiz or Cotto pressuring Floyd. Its a full fledged MW, whose sole style is to in fact pressure you.

Floyd will always be the one that has to fight the perfect fight from the get go. GGG has room for errors in this fight.

                  Understand the game.

find it hard to believe golovkin makes 154 healthy, or that floyd would fight him

but otherwise, golovkin has a great chance of beating floyd, he doesn't rush in for you to circle out on him, he keeps you on the ropes and steps with you, while peppering you with big jabs, constantly, that would make it difficult for floyd to roll, the jabs are constant and golovkin will likely be on top of floyd the entire fight, floyd will eat alot of heavy jabs, and right hooks to the body

i think it would be tough until golovkin stops floyd late in the fight, around the 10th
