The Chavez that beat Andy Lee is the Chavez I want to see: relentless, in shape, and ****y. Sadly, the Chavez that fought Martinez, and especially the the one that "beat" Vera was only ****y.

There's no reason why Vera should have hung with one-punch at a time fat Chavez.

      Come dude, get it together.
Chavez wasn't "relentless" in the Martinez fight because Martinez is a different class of fighter and Chavez couldn't do what he normally does in other fights. And he was in shape. He caught Martinez because Martinez got tired not to mention outweighed him by who the hell knows how much.

The Vera fight was a combination of being fat, lazy and ring-rusted.

Dude kidded himself he could get to 160 then steps on the scales recently and is surprised to see a number over 200 again.

He's supposed to be a consummate professional athlete. The guy at the kebab shop has a better handle on personal weight.

To be honest, I saw Bika's fights with Bute and Ward as being much more close than they were actually scored...

This pot head thinks he can just pick up yet another gifted strap from uncle Jose. Bika fights. I mean he isn't boxing, he's fighting. People want to talk about Bradley's head and Floyd's elbows..... Wait 'till Jr sees he's in there with a head butting, elbow dropping fool with light heavy type strength and he isn't going anywhere for 12 damn rounds. No boxing, no movement, no defense. Even if Chavez wins he will eat the hardest punches he's ever dealt with. You all think Sergio lumped him up? Win or lose Bika breaks Jr's nose, eye socket maybe jaw.

Jr will definitely end up in a hospital overnight because he'll be eating power shots like a kid eats Cheerios for breakfast.

I've never rooted for Bika ever. But if he fights jr I'll be his groupie for 12 rounds.

The only thing he should target is weightwatchers.

The article says he will have to face the guy in the number 1 contender space before getting a shot at Bika.

Wonder who that is..last time i checked any ranking, i'm sure the no1 contender was Edwin Rodriguez .
