Stevens is still a legit middleweight and will become a champion

the dude put up a great effort

he is solid, strong n compact

i think he will give everybody at 160 a good fight

and i believe he can beat the majority of them i.e. barker

he definitely has a fan fav style

dont know why ppl bash him ... hes not on gggs level but hes a legit fighter

Stevens just doesn't let his hands go enough. He had some success when he let his hands go but it seemed like he fought 'scared' the whole fight.

Tough fighter, a lot of heart but I don't expect him to ever win an alphabet title.

Barker, Geale, Sturm, Quillin and Murray all beat him. I would even favor Danny Jacobs over Stevens.

He will probably be a gatekeeper/journeyman type of fighter and push the young up and coming guys. I can see him fighting J'Leon Love for example in the next year or two.

He will always have occasional success against opponents due to his power. The ones though that stand up to him and hit him back puts him into a shell. He reminds me of Lemieux. Both can fire home runs, but not all of them leave the park, and the ones still standing and throwing the ball back makes them lose their will.

Na, no need to try and act like this was anything more than a DECENT win for ggg. Hopefully he fights Martin next

he fought the only way he could against GGG. He felt the power early and appeared to know that GGG would come straight in for the KO. GGG doesnt move his head so playing matador was a smart play--it was really the only play.

Curtis came to fight on Saturday. He's got a lunch pail attitude and I would very much like to see him fight more.

I shit on him all the way up to the fight....now I wonder how he'll do against a legit mW contender. He did way better than I thought, so props to him. I was screaming for Golovkin to go to the body, but I guess he didn't go there as much against the ropes because he was concerned about the left
He did better than the recent GGG opponents and landed some decent punches.
Put him in there with another MW contender and we'll go from there. Only other Champ I see him fighting is Quillin and I don't even know because they're friends....but could be a domestic show in Barclays
