I honestly do not think so. I think Ward probably hits harder than Stevens and his mind for boxing is possibly tenfold better than Stevens. Even though the commentators had it every round for Golovkin I had 2 or 3 rounds for Stevens. Gennady was still up by a lot. But I think against Ward hes gonna have a much tougher time. Possibly even lose his 0 or even get dropped. He was walking foward with his chin straight up in the air and chin straight up during exchanges. I know he probably wouldnt do that against Ward, but I just see Ward as too much of a wizard for him. I dont see his power bothering Ward too much either. I could be wrong though. It could be a close fight or Golovkin wins also I think he proved that its possible after last night. I'd just give Ward more of the chance. What do you think?

Big fan of GGG but no way does he beat Ward. There are some obvious holes in his game that a great, physical and larger fighter like Ward would exploit. He would smother and push GGG back and make him very uncomfortable from the word go. May put a real beating on him. GGG will continue to do well against guys in his size though.

With an unbiased ref that won't allow Ward to clinch 1000 times a round and if the fight is not in Oakland, he beats the shit out of Ward.

The fact that his trainer and manager tense up when Ward's name is mentioned tells you pretty much everything. Saying that, if he cleans up the MW division, I would still love to see it one day.

GGG beat Ward down. All that running and clinching shlt wont matter when he gets hit. And he will get hit.

I agree the fight should be in a neutral location, although Oakland is the most profitable place considering his lack of fanbase but it's probably time for him to fight somewhere else. I'm curious though, what about Ward suggests that GGG would win so easily? Ward has proven that he knows how to win, plus he's the bigger man. What has you convinced that GGG wins so easily?

What make you so sure? It's not like Ward hasn't faced real competition over the last couple of years. If Ward looks like himself in his next bout, I'd consider a fight between him and GGG to be a 50/50 contest.
