Stevens corner set him up for failure

This dude had pillows on his hands, I don't know about you, but if im fighting GGG, there's no way in hell that I'm wearing those triple fat goose rockem-sockem gloves he had on.

GGG's gloves looked much better and more compact, Stevens corner really need to reevaluate his choice of gloves for future fights, those were a bad choice.

His team was genius by getting him a title shot when he wasn't a world class fighter.

Their tactical advice was very good. Push him back, do not run from him.

Also, they pulled him out at the right time.

I think fighters should wear the same type of gloves like they do in the UFC.

You'd have a lot of ruined fights. (due to easy cuts).
MMA gloves are great for grappling though.

He's fighting the champ at 160, they gotta do a better job than that when selecting his equipment.

I thought so too, but I didn't like 2 guys talking to him at one time, that's another thing they need to work on.

There was absolutely nothing Stevens or his corner could have done to make it better for him.

Gennady took his punches and walked through them without being affected. As GGG said an 'easy work'.

I meant to say that boxers should wear the same type of boxing gloves as each other so no boxer has the advantage over the other. I don't actually mean that they should wear those tiny UFC gloves.
