Big if, if froch gets past the game groves, but if so this could happen.

    Who you got and why?

At this point Froch has the edge but I'll have to see his upcoming fight against Groves to see if Froch still has that spark. Froch is 5 years older than Golovkin and more battle tested. Let's see if the years are catching up to him in his next fight.

ggg is a phenon, my only concern with him is hes 5-9 against a big super middle with a crazy reach and a strong chin. But would be good.

I back Froch and i'd be pretty comfortable in that pick.

Stevens had success when he pushed GGG back tonight, and showed that GGG is certainly a front runner.

Unfortunatley Stevens was scared of getting hit and as a result spent much of the fight shelling up, in reverse and letting Golvkin get off,

Froch will meet Golvkin in the middle of the ring, and If stevens was backing him up, you had best belie Froch will, the difference is Froch is bigger, Stronger, More Durable, braver and probably more powerful (at 168) than stevens is.

I can't see Froch running backwards around the ring, scared of getting in a fight with GGG, and for that reason I can't see GGG being allowed to dictate the pace, and fight his usual fight. A bigger guy like Froch with heavy hands will wear Golovkin down and probably stop him late on.

            ALSO

Golovkin will not have success at mid range because froch has a much better reach and is formiddable with a very solid jab from mid-long range.

So GGG's only option is to try and pressure froch and push him backwards, and that's not going to work.

I don't think ggg power will as effective at super middle weight and he is shorter than Froch.

Arthur Abraham power and size didn't even bother Froch when he move up

              Ggg should stay at middleweight.

I agree with the bold. GGG seems to need to be at mid-range to throw his shots. Thats his main weakness. Looks like a good boxer would outbox him.

But i think GGG let Stevens back him up. GGG's defence is more about foot work than slipping shots. I think he would fire back if he needed to. But id like to see him show us he can fight on the backfoot, or use that great jab with some lateral movement. So far, he is just a very good pressure fighter.

Also, Froch;s defence isnt great. I can see GGG landing big now and again. Think it would be interesting.
