Well, not necessarily. I try to be objective as possible. If I'm going to be objective, it seems a bit ridiculous to claim that a guy who hasn't fought 1 elite opponent can beat the #1 P4P Fighter in the world. Just my opinion.

This. Guerero is a decent fighter but he was 135 lbs a couple fights ago and really had not beaten any eite fighters to earn the Mayweather shot either.
At least Manny takes tough fights, even if he is coming off a devastating loss. This 'Rios is made for Manny' crap is irrelevant. He's still very dangerous for a guy who was just knocked unconcious.

You know good and damn well that Brandon Rios wouldn't win a round against Guerrero. The reason Floyd fought Robert is because 1. Fans were asking for him to fight Robert or Canelo. 2. He was the #3 Welter in the World. 3. He was the Interim WBC Champ, Floyd's mandatory.

Rios is coming of a loss where he lost his title, as is Manny. Which is why I have yet to diss Manny for fighting Brandon. I have however checked those who are calling this fight everything that it is not. This is not some tough challenge to see if Manny can still fight or if he can take a punch. It's to get Manny looking like the same guy people fell in love with years ago. It's to put a guy in front of him that won't move and won't defend himself so Manny can look like the Human Blitz in a new huge market like Macau.
