How about Stevens vs Macklin on HBO if Macklin can get past his next opponent? Stevens criticized Macklin for being scared in the fight against Golovkin but Stevens wasn't much different.

He deserves one more chance seeing he put up the most fight...or at least landed the hardest blows compared to the last few. HBO or ShowTime.....loss definitely did him dome favors

I wouldn't mind seeing him against Quillin.

I know people were annoyed by the pre-fight trash talking but honestly, sometimes you need something like that to get everyone amped into the fight. I think it was also a way to mentally prepare himself for the fight - to taunt the scary bully, to show no fear. When it came to the fight, he obviously wasn't good enough but I think he did the best he could.

I do think Stevens is an exciting fighter who could give pretty much any other fighter in the division a stiff test. I wouldn't have a problem seeing him as a headline opponent on HBO again.

I think he did himself some favours in this fight, but does run the risk of falling into the risk / reward pit. I wonder if Duva would let him fight Quillin or Jacobs on SHO.
