Comments Thread For: Mike Perez Beats Up, Decisions Magomed For Decision

In battle between undefeated heavyweights for the WBC United States (USNBC) heavyweight title, Mike Perez (20-0, 12KOs) kept his "0" and won a ten round unanimous decision over Magomed Abdusalamov (18-1, 18KOs). The scores were 97-92, 95-94, 97-92

Perez started fast and shook up Mago several times in the first two minutes. Perez's fast hands the difference as he continued to rattle Mago and get to the target first. Mago's nose was busted but he started landing better punches in the second against the busier and more accurate Perez.

Very crafty big man! Thought his stamina was lacking early but he had a good work rate!

Big props to Mike Perez. Very skilled. He reminds me big version of Rigondo.

Its always hard to win against puncher artist with good chin like Mago.

And one thing that surprised me that Mike Perez doesnt have one punch power but its was he who rocked Mago few times and Mago with his heavy hands couldnt do the same and sometimes looked clumsy.

              Master work for Mike Perez.

inb4 anyone calls Maomed a bum or hype job. Both guys showed heart. Magomed has a lot of improvement in him, prior to this he's only been 5 rounds and fount 31 rounds in his pro career! He'll come back better with more experience and better conditioning.

Congratulations to "The Rebel"! Nice, nice win. I hope it's a sign of things to come for Mike...and I hope he takes less punishment from now on. Tough to take many heavyweight wars like that, unless your name is Chuvalo.
