Why any interest in watching him fight after his pathetic performance vs. Mayweather?

I lost interest in this guy after his pathetic performance vs. Floyd. Totally slow, clumsy, PATHETIC. Couldn't land EVEN ONE, JUST ONE significant punch on Floyd. So, why even be interested in watching this mediocre boxer again?

It just blows my mind how people can be bought into media hype.

canelo was given a chance to be a great but disappoints thousands of boxing fans...

he chose to be a mediocre fighter as his skills are and now boxing fans shortchanged him for that...

      big name next? who?

before fighting chicken floyd, canelo should have watched segura-calderon fight and get inspired...he should have bully chicken floyd but the opposite happened...he was the one bullied by a small foe...

The only names around his division are Cotto, Martinez, and Chavez Jr. Don't see any others selling well, including Ortiz, Angulo, and Lara.

i am not buying a ppv if canelo is the A side. he's coming off of a one sided loss.

i was gonna take a stand against maidana - broner, and i'm taking one here.

unless he's literally fighting miguel cotto in his comeback i am not buying this PPV.

i f#cking love cotto from back in my youth, and that fight would be a gunfight.

i'd pay for martinez or cotto. f#ck junior. dude wouldn't come close to the catchweight.

I think as long as he picks a credible opponent like Angulo or Lara and with a good under card it would still be successful, the dude's fan following is really strong but nobody will pay to see him beat on tomato cans have to be credible opponents which takes Ortiz out.

(That being said i wouldn't pay **** to see any fight that involves Chavez jr) But that's just me .

Chavez Jr vs Alvarez would sell simply for the novelty of having the two most famous Mexicans fighting each other. I wouldn't buy it myself though. Lots of Mexicans would.
