No. That'd be
Richard Towers - Worst chin of all times?

I got decked a lot and stopped a few times - so yes, you're now ****ed as part of the tag team.that's fine and normally I'm not one to call any heavyweight's chin dodgy because they are fighting such big guys. However, after the first right hand you could see Towers jab was slower, he had no confidence and was shook every time he was touched. Even from a jab.
I was never stopped in 28 amateur fights, don't know if your record will bring us down in the combined score! jk, in all seriousness, his chin is bad.
He's a big bloke but he's not a fighter. Sorry, not a boxer. Size is all he has really.
But I've seen many, many worse chins in my 40 years of watching boxing.Comment

I was decked a few times too. In sparring also. But never in an actual fight was I stopped.
He's just horrible. No power, no defense and no chin. He doesn't have a prayer! haha. Just joking, he has decent power I guess. Browne looks to have a good chin though.
I'm not talking journeymen and that sort of thing, but guys actually fighting at a decent level and being built to be something in the future? I honestly can't remember many I had this feeling about. You know that feeling that makes you think the slightest touch on his whiskers he'll be gone.Last edited by LacedUp; 11-02-2013, 05:03 PM.Comment

Towers does have a weak chin for the heavyweight game. He struggled badly against against ex K1 fighter in his last outing. Can't discredit Lucas though he is a terrifying specimen. I think Towers could work on his legs abit as they are very skinny. Add some stability to his frame.Comment

I don't think Browne will go anywhere. I'd pick Price to knock him out within 4 rounds (assuming Price's confidence isn't completely shot).
But Foreman was slow & still knocked plenty of people out.
And no, I'm not calling Browne the next Foreman before anyone starts on that.Comment

Summed it up nicely... If you look at the records of his opponents, he's fought opponents that have a decent punch at the journeymen level, especially in comparison to the lower weight classes on the British scene.
In the lower weight classes, most fighters are pillow punchers (single digit knockouts in double digit wins), whoever is getting knocked down or stopped at that level has weaker chins. That's what was so telling about Khan's chin when he campaigned at lightweight there.Comment

To be honest, he's not even worth a thread about him. Just a lanky bloke who got steered to this level & has now been exposed.I was decked a few times too. In sparring also. But never in an actual fight was I stopped.

Browne is a proper tough guy who could kayo most heavyweights IF he landed on them (which he wouldn't at a higher level).Comment
